Two honest caveats. First, shoulder-season weeks give the deepest monthly discounts, while July-August and the December holidays give the shallowest. Second, monthly quotes at standalone villas often exclude utilities — electricity for a private pool and daytime air-conditioning is frequently billed on usage — so ask us to state utility terms in writing on your quote.

• Housekeeping. Resort stays include it. Standalone villas typically include a set number of cleans per week; daily service, laundry cycles, or a private cook are quoted as monthly add-ons.
• Driver retainer. A dedicated car and driver on standby, booked by the week or month through licensed transport partners — cheaper per day than one-off bookings, and the driver learns your routine.
• Airport transfers. Included in both directions on every long-stay quote we issue.
• Extras on request. Spa appointments, private chefs, pre-arrival provisioning, and a mid-stay villa switch if you want two areas in one block.

Which area suits a two-to-eight-week stay?

The three core luxury bases hold for long stays as they do for short ones: Seminyak for upscale beachfront and nightlife, Ubud for jungle, rice terraces, and culture, and Nusa Dua for gated beachfront calm. Past the four-week mark, quieter corners earn their keep — Sidemen, Munduk, Candidasa, and Pekutatan suit remote workers who want green views on workdays and a weekend car to the coast. A pattern we quote often for six- to eight-week blocks: one month in Ubud, then two to four weeks in Seminyak or Nusa Dua, with a Jimbaran beach dinner on handover night.
